Dunelm reopens Sunderland shop with huge clearance sale

With the easing of lockdown rules, many businesses across the country are beginning to reopen to the public again.

DIY, homestores and garden centres are among the first to be allowed to reopen, with the likes of B&Q and The Range already open.

Dunelm has now followed and is ready to welcome customers back to its Sunderland store.

Better still the shop is having a massive clearance sale both online and instore with up to 50% off selected items.

What are the opening hours?

The store will be open 9am until 6pm Monday to Saturday.

On Sunday, the Pallion Retail Park store will be open from 11am and close at 5pm.

Will the coffee shop be open?

The popular coffee shop will remain closed, despite the rest of the store being accessible to the public.

Under current restrictions, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops are not allowed to be open in the UK.

What safety measures have been implemented?

Dunelm have confirmed that fewer customers will be allowed inside the shop at a single time.

Plastic screens have been installed at till points and hand sanitiser will be offered throughout the store.

You can request for a staff member to do your shopping for you, they’ll take your order and bring your items outside to make your purchase.

A spokesperson for Dunelm said: “For those of you who feel more comfortable staying in your own space, we’ve introduced contact free ways to shop, and with options that include deliveries to your car to virtual appointments with a personal shopper, we hope there’s something for everyone.”

Can I still order online?

Dunelm have confirmed that online orders will remain in operation, with socially distanced deliveries.

The delivery driver will knock on your door and step back to an appropriate distance, where they will verbally confirm your name.
