Emma Duncan and Charlotte Lamb are back at work today in the cafe and bar respectively.

"We were closed due to gasworks at the front of the building,” said Emma.

“We did close during the day – we had to, to be on the safe side – but everything will reopen today as usual.”

The leak was right outside the sports ground

Charlotte said there had been no choice but to close: “There was a gas leak in the street outside, coming into the building,” she said.

"The cafe was closed during the day but the bar reopened last night.”
