Lee Johnson has made four changes to his side ahead of Sunderland's trip to Burton Albion on Saturday – and fans have been quick to react on social media.

The Black Cats booked their place in the final of the Papa John’s Trophy on Wednesday evening following a tense penalty shootout over Lincoln City and are looking to move back into the League One play-off places with a win over Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink’s men.

For their part, Albion have won three of their last four league outings, but still find themselves rooted to the foot of the table.

Johnson has opted to go for a 3-4-3 against the Brewers, with Conor McLaughlin and Dion Sanderson coming into the back-line instead of Bailey Wright and Callum McFadzean.

Southampton loanee Jake Vokins will start on the left flank, while Aiden O’Brien lines up alongside Charlie Wyke and Aiden McGeady up top.

Josh Scowen and Dan Neil drop to the bench, with Jordan Jones also being made to settle for a spot among the subs.
