The property is based next to the entrance of Parsons Industrial Estate and sits around half a mile to the north west of Washington Town Centre.
A noise impact assessment commissioned by the applicant added no specific measures are needed to control external noise at the site, which is “wholly due to road traffic.”
The report goes on to say: “Notwithstanding this, a good standard of residential amenity will be achieved at the [site] with the existing glazing.”

A previous statement from the applicant said: “The site location is within excellent walking and cycling distance of local services, including hospitals, schools, employment and shops.
“The site is also extremely well connected to transport services via the existing road network and associated bus services.”
A decision on the new application is expected by early April, 2021.
