This is the Sunderland team to face Pompey: Burge, Willis, Wright, O’Nien, Gooch, Scowen, Leadbitter, Power, Hume, Maguire, Wyke.

Here's the best of the fan reaction from Twitter:

Richard tweeted: “Really think he should have freshened it up a bit... he is so stubborn. #SAFC”

Speak Sunderland tweeted: “Why are Diamond and Neil still Sunderland players. Neil must have been sold a dream when signing a new contract. #SAFC”

Philip West added: “Minimal change, as I expected. With Willis and Wright marshalling the defence and Leadbitter in fine form as well, we should have a platform to really go for it today and put Portsmouth away.”
