Sunderland a second rate town
They should get out more to look at the reality of Sunderland, to see for themselves what a mess it is in.
I think they are paying too much attention to this City of Culture. This is a town not really a city. It became a city some years back because the Queen said so.

Hide AdNow Sunderland is getting £6million towards the City of Culture, yet shops are empty, people on the dole Fawcett Street library closed.
This is a run down, second rate town, and yet they want to be a City of Culture.
Take The Bridges shopping centre away from Sunderland and the ‘town’ will be nothing. The Bridges binds Sunderland together.
