Four charged after shooting incident in Sunderland

Four men have been charged after a shooting incident in a Sunderland street.

Police were scrambled after a window was shot at in Edgmond Court in the Hollycarrside area of Sunderland, no-one was in the property and no-one was injured.

The incident happened on February 29 this year. Earlier today four men were charged with conspiring to possess a firearm.

They are:

Ellis Dobbing, 23, of Ashdale Court in Sunderland. Jevan Doyle, 22, of Fordenbridge Road in Sunderland. John Bailey, 32, of Fordfield Road in Sunderland Steven Palmer, 32 of Neville Road, in South Denton, in Newcastle. All four are due to appear at South Tyneside Magistrates Court tomorrow.
