Tina Turner tribute show announces rescheduled Sunderland Empire date - what it means for ticket holders
What’s Love Got To Do With It? was due to come to Sunderland Empire on June 17, 2020, but, as with all shows, it had to be cancelled when the venue closed its doors to help limit the spread of COVID-19.
It’s now been announced that the tour will come to Wearside next year on Friday, June 25, 2021.

Hide AdBox office staff at the theatre are contacting ticket holders so they can transfer their tickets to the new date.
A spokesman for What’s Love Got To Do With It? said: “As everyone is aware, due to Government advice, theatres and venues across the UK have had to take the decision to close.
“This inevitably affects our shows and, therefore, What’s Love Got To Do With It? has had to be rescheduled.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and we hope you can join us on the rescheduled date.”

The lively tribute show is a celebration of the 60-year career of rock and soul legend that is Tina Turner and recreates hits including: Private Dancer, What's Love Got To Do With It?, Proud Mary, River Deep, Nutbush City Limits, Simply The Best and many more.
