Staff at a South Shields superstore have been digging in to support a local charity.

The Tesco employees lent a helping hand to Grace House by providing a donation of £500 to help renovate the facility centre and garden area.

Colleagues from the store on Towers Place went along to the facility to present the team with the donation.
