Metro passengers delayed as trackside fire leads to suspension of service
A fire close to Metro lines forced the service to be suspended between two stations.
No trains were running between Fellgate and East Boldon in both directions due to a line-side fire at Brockley Whins.
The service has since resumed, but delays of up to 15 minutes are reported.
