Sam Raine, 21, of Lime Street, Sunderland, was banned from driving for a year, fined £120 and ordered to pay a £32 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drug driving on February 19.
David Straughan, also known as Bevan, 32, of Ribble Road, Red House, Sunderland, received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting stealing nine bottles of Moet champagne worth a combined £368 from Sainsbury’s, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, on June 13.

Julie Jones, 46, of Barningham Close, Sunderland, received 10 penalty points on her driving licence, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drink driving on April 19.
