When are the school Easter holidays in Sunderland?
The Easter holidays will be from Monday, March 29 to Friday, April 9.

Hide AdFrom March 8, socialising in parks and public spaces with one other person will be allowed which means that people can sit down for a drink or picnic.
When the school Easter holidays begin on March 29, people are ‘no longer legally required to stay at home’ and larger groups will be allowed to gather in parks or gardens.
The “rule of six” will return, along with new measures allowing two households totalling more than six people to meet – giving greater flexibility for families and friends.
Outdoor sports facilities will reopen, including outdoor swimming pools and golf courses.

The six-week summer holidays will officially begin on Monday, July 19 until Tuesday, August 31.
Can families go on holiday during the summer?
Boris Johnson said on Monday that a Government taskforce will produce a report by April 12 recommending how international trips can resume for people in England.
This means that foreign holidays could be permitted from May 17.

The most popular destinations for this summer are beach resorts including Malaga, Alicante and Palma in Spain, Faro in Portugal and the Greek island of Crete.
August is the most booked month, followed by July and September.
