When does Adventure Valley reopen and what are its new attractions?

The family adventure park, in Durham has been making the most of its ‘downtime’ during lockdown to invest in brand new facilities for families and children to enjoy following months of staying at home.
These include a mini train ride, a new external play dome and an outdoor aqua blaster as the owner invests almost £200,000 in new attractions.
So when will Adventure Valley reopen?

Hide AdOn Monday, March 29, Adventure Valley will reopen it’s Mini Golf course to the public before the full park will open its doors to visitors two weeks later on Monday, April 12. Visitors must book online.
What are the new attractions?
The first visitors at the park will be able to take a ride on the new mini train, which cost £100,000 and can seat up to 14 passengers.
To utilise more of its outdoor space, the park has also invested £80,000 in a new external play dome, complete with a climbing pyramid with three-dimensional nets at thrilling heights, bouncing routes, climbing walls and slides.
There is also a new outdoor aqua blaster where children can fire water at different targets.

"We wanted to ensure that when families do return to us, we give them an experience that was worth waiting for and even more fun and thrilling adventures.
"We are relieved to finally be opening our doors once again and cannot wait to welcome people back.”
Adventure Valley gained business advice from Robson Laidler Accountants, who secured the park the full amount of a Business Interruption Insurance Claim due to Covid-19.
