THE clock is ticking until pantomime season at Sunderland Empire, when the enchanting rags-to-riches tale of Cinderella comes to town.
The Echo has teamed up with Sunderland Empire to offer readers an exclusive chance to take part in the magical Glass Slipper Trail for the chance to win a fabulous festive bumper prize.
Sunderland Echo will exclusively print the Glass Slipper Trail map, which you can view here.
Five glass slippers will be placed across the city at Frankie and Benny’s, Waterstones, National Glass Centre, Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens and at the Sunderland Empire Box Office.
Each glass slipper, produced by Wearside Glass Sculptors, will have a different coloured ribbon and families need to follow the map to find and match the colours of the ribbons on the Glass Slippers to the entry form.
The Glass Slipper Trail starts today, so this will be a magical way to start the October half term holidays and the competition will run until November 30.
One lucky winner* will receive a sparkling Glass Slipper, a family ticket to Cinderella (Friday, December 13, 7pm) including goody bag, family meal at Frankie and Benny’s, £50 voucher for the National Glass Centre (to be used in either the Brasserie or for learning activities), a £20 voucher for the Museum and Winter Gardens gift shop and the new Hello Kitty is Cinderella book.
Three runners up* will also receive a family ticket to Cinderella (Friday, December 13, 7pm), goody bag and a sparkling Glass Slipper.
The full map needs to completed along with the entry form (here) and returned to Marketing, Sunderland Empire, High Street West, Sunderland. SR1 3EX by November 30 2013.
