YOU thought the panto season was over – oh no, it isn’t!

The fairytale adventure of Sleeping Beauty is brought to the North East stage this month in Dryburn Theatrical Workshop’s popular annual pantomime.

The adventure and romance of this most magical of pantomimes tells the story of Princess Beauty who is destined to prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and sleep for 100 years.

Follow the adventures of Muddles the court jester, King Keegan and Queen Camilla Parker Bike, as they fight against the wicked fairy Carabosse to awaken Sleeping Beauty.

Malcolm Quinn, chairman of Dryburn Theatrical Workshop, said: “This year we’re excited to present such a favourite fairytale with a new and very funny script.

“Our Sleeping Beauty is full of music and fabulous characters and costumes and is bursting with enough comedy, action and magical effects to suit kids of all ages.”
