Have your say

WE went all sophisticated this week and decided to go for a lovely meal before hitting the town – no liquid tea for us!

It was the usual suspects, Katy and myself, but we also managed to drag Georga out as well – only as far as the restaurant though, no booty shaking for her this time.

Katy and I decided to burn off the calories before we ate them and had a stroll past Mowbray Park on our way to our chosen eatery, Amore.

First things first was the must-have bottle of wine, what can I say, it had been a long day.

Then we tackled the menu. We were all super impressed with our meals of choice especially the sharing antipasto starter we had.

I think our table was the most lively in the restaurant as we spent the duration of the meal laughing at my Judy Finnigan-style mishap – the button on my shirt decided to unfasten itself mid fillet steak – luckily Katy noticed it before anyone else had to witness my faux pas.

We also enjoyed being able to tweet about our evening for the first time on our Seen account.

Who would have thought you could get so much pleasure from commentating on your own life?

Two bottles of wine later and after several failed attempts to persuade Georga to join us for a few drinks in town, Katy and I made our way into the centre looking for a decent bar with lots of people and good music.

This can often be like looking for a needle in a haystack and we do find ourselves drawn to certain venues.

I’m hoping that being part of the Twitter movement may unearth a gem that we have yet to discover after dark in Sunderland.

So if you have any suggestions, please send us a tweet and let us know, we love nothing more than trying out a new venue!
