IT TOOK six hours to rehearse and just two-and-a-half minutes to shoot, but Frankie and the Heartstrings’ new video is out now for fans to enjoy.

The Sunderland five-piece’s new single - Everybody Looks Better (In The Right Light) - is out on Monday.

The intriguing video that accompanies it features the band - Frankie Francis, Micky Ross, Dave Harper, Michael McKnight and Steve Dennis - suffering car trouble, and quite a lot besides out in the countryside.

Frankie is pleased with the results of a day spent in a cold, damp field. It’s all glamour!

He said: “The video is one continuous shot and it was quite easy for me because all I had to do was walk along miming the words to the song.

“The rest of the lads were in and out of shot at various times so they had to make sure they were in the right place at the right time as the camera moved along.

“It was a freezing day and we rehearsed it for six hours, but we managed to get it right first time.”
