SUNDERLAND University is preparing for a flood of Take That fans.
It’s offering gig-goers food, entertainment and convenient safe parking in the run up to the biggest music weekend the city has ever seen.
To help accommodate concert goers, the university is putting on pre-shows, food, drink and entertainment at its riverside campus and parking at the Sir Tom Cowie Campus, National Glass Centre and City Campus.
North Shore, formerly Manor Quay, will be serving food tomorrow from 10am and a fully-licensed bar open from 11am until show time with special menu and drinks offers. The event will be repeated before shows on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
There will be free live music at St Peter’s Campus and parking and stewards on hand to guide you.
Throughout the duration of the concerts the university will provide secure car parking facilities for £5 per car on Friday from 5.30pm; all day on Saturday and Monday and from 5.30pm on Tuesday.
