SUNDERLAND acts are among those helping to rock Tynemouth Fake Festival
The touring tribute music festival is back for a third year at Percy Park Rugby Club in Tynemouth on May 2.
While tributes to Green Day, Bon Jovi and the Arctic Monkeys form the headline entertainment, Sunderland acts are among those to have been selected as support acts.
They include country singer Chloe Chadwick from Roker.
She’s just completed recording her new single, Settle Your Heart, and recently performed at the O2 in London for the C2C Country Music festival in front of 50,000 people.
Another Wearside act set to get the crowds going are five-piece alternative rockers The Firelight Opera.
Since their formation in August 2012 they have supported Mark Morriss of The Bluetones, Chris Helme of The Seahorses and John Power of Cast/The La’s.
•Tickets for Fake Festival are £20 for adults, £10 for young people, £50 for a family ticket. Children under nine go free. Tickets are available from www.fakefestivals.co.uk.
