SWEDISH songstress Robyn and rising British star Rita Ora have been announced as the support for Coldplay when they take to the stage at the Stadium of Light this summer.
Dance act Robyn has enjoyed huge success with her Number 1 track With Every Heartbeat, while Rita has caused a stir in the charts recently with track Hot Right Now, featuring DJ Fresh.
Ora, who’s been working with the likes of Will.I.Am and Drake on her debut album, has caught the eye of Jay Z, who has signed her to label Roc Nation.
Robyn and Ora will perform ahead of Coldplay on June 7.
The four piece’s set is expected to include new single, Charlie Brown. Released on March 19, it’s the third track to be taken from their acclaimed album Mylo Xyloto.
The album hit the No. 1 spot in 32 countries and reached No. 1 in all 35 iTunes stores around the world, breaking the record for the highest number of download sales in one week.
