Tickets are on sale for Bastille’s biggest UK tour to date.
It sees the band play Newcastle’s O2 Academy on November 2.
The band behind No.1 album Bad Blood, one of the biggest albums of the year, will also release new single Laura Palmer on May 27.
It seems there is no stopping London-based Bastille, whose ever-increasing fan base are clearly connecting with the band’s haunting melodies, strong narratives and rhythmic backbone.
A busy summer in 2012 saw them play more than 30 festivals and culminated in a tent-packed set at Reading and a live performance on BBC3.
Festivals they’ve already confirmed for this summer include Bestival, Glastonbury, Benicassim, Secret Garden Party and Wakestock.
The band has come a long way considering that they played their first gig just two years ago. Before this, frontman Dan Smith was quietly making music in his bedroom to satisfy his own interests.
