‘SOLE’ singer Lola Saunders has made it through to the judges’ houses in The X Factor.
Millions of viewers saw the East Boldon hopeful, who works at Whitburn fishmonger’s Latimer’s, selected by Geordie star Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who is looking after the girls’ category in this year’s show.
The 20-year-old joins Lauren Platt, Kerrianne Covell, Stephanie Nala, Emily Middlemas and Chloe Jasmine in the next stage. Viewers have previosuly seen Lola, daughter of former Newcastle United player Wes Saunders, wow the stage at Wembley Arena.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini told her: “It is unbelievable to think someone so good has no idea about how much potential they have.
“I can’t imagine going from gutting fish to standing on Wembley, and actually having them on their feet applauding.”
