Have your say

apWE all know what Jools Holland likes. Big bands, boogie-woogie and walking around, introducing artists on Later. The artists here need no introduction however; Paul Weller, Paloma Faith and Tom Jones are among those lending their talents here.

We know the cast and crew then, which leaves the missing ingredient that makes or breaks such collections; the songs. They work brilliantly

Cee Lo Green rrrrips up Reet Petite, Rumer again confirms that she’s one of the world’s finest voices on Accentuate The Positive, but it’s no surprise that an Amy Winehouse appearance steals the show; Don’t Go To Strangers is a poignant reminder of lost talent.

Even so, this record is perfect for a party. Maybe New Years’ Eve; Jools likes a knees-up around that time of year.
