LITTLE Comets have soared into the album charts with their latest release.

The indie band, made up of Jarrow brothers Rob and Mickey Coles and Washington’s Matt Hall, released their third album, Hope Is Just A State Of Mind, on Monday, following a trilogy of EPs over the last year.

The album, released through The Smallest Label, has gone straight into the top 20 in the official midweek charts.

The album sits at No.18, beating the likes of Fall Out Boy’s American Beauty/American Psycho and Mark Ronson’s Uptown Special.

They join a line-up of big name artists such as Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.

The lads are kicking off a UK tour next week, which will end with a gig at Newcastle’s O2 Academy on Saturday, March 14.
