FANS have sung the praises of North East Live.
Rhys Hood, 10, of Ayton, said: “Union J and JLS were my favourites. It was massive and loud, and the biggest thing I’ve been to.”
Sister Caitlyn, six, said James Arthur was her favourite act.
“I had a good time,” she said. “I was looking forward to Little Mix, but I enjoyed James Arthur and I was singing along.”
Joe Chalder, 20, of South Shields, said he was there to see Little Mix because he took singer Jade to the school prom.
“Union J were good,” he said. “But I was looking forward to seeing Little Mix the most because I went to the prom with Jade. I was looking forward to Rita Ora as well.”
Christine Wallis, 39, of Red House, said: “It was really, really good.
“I’ve been to Take That at the Stadium before and their show was bigger, but the atmosphere today is better – it’s fantastic.”Alex Todd, 16, of Woodstone Village, who went with mu m Michelle, 45, said Lawson was her favourite act.
She said: “I enjoyed James Arthur and Union J, but I was looking forward to seeing Lawson the most.”
Mark Nixon, 39, of Thorney Close, said: “It’s been a really good family day. The kids have been loving it. There’s been loads of screaming but it’s been brilliant.”
