HUNDREDS of extra tickets for Take That’s concerts at the Stadium of Light this month go on sale from today.
The bonus tickets – for all four nights – are available through websites ticketmaster.co.uk, seetickets.com and ticketline.co.uk
Take That kick off their Progress Live tour – their first as a reformed five-piece with Robbie Williams – with four concerts at the stadium from Friday, May 27.
Hundreds of extra tickets went on sale this morning after the promoters finalised arrangements for the staging of the shows.
“Due to the stage position being finalised, there are a limited amount of tickets being released for each date,” said SAFC head of venue and events Gary Hutchinson.
“We also have a limited amount of hospitality available from the Friday and Saturday nights, for which people should visit the club website safcconcerts.com”.
The Black Cats have set up a What’s on at the SoL Facebook page – www.facebook.com/stadiumoflight – to highlight everything going on at the stadium.
Take That’s four concerts will be followed by American rockers Kings of Leon on June 17.
About 300,000 fans will descend on Sunderland for the five performances, while a number of live acts and DJ performances across the city, part of the Sunderland Live Fringe Festival celebrations, will add an entertaining backdrop.
Tickets for the concerts are now available for those fans who purchased vouchers directly from the Stadium of Light ticket office.
To collect their tickets, concert-goers must ensure they bring the vouchers they were issued with at the time of purchase, as well as a proof of identity.
Tickets should be collected as soon as possible and fans are strongly advised not to leave the exchange until the day of the concerts.
The Stadium of Light’s ticket office is open 10am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 10am until 1pm on Saturdays. The office is closed on Sundays. and bank holidays.
