COLLABRO star Jamie Lambert is asking people to get behind X Factor hopeful Lola Saunders.
The 25-year-old singer, from Washington, knows all too well what Lola is going through.
He won ITV contest Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year with his theatrical boyband, Collabro.
Now he’s hoping people will offer the same support to Lola, 20, of East Boldon.
He said: “If I had any advice for Lola it would be not to read what people are saying all of the time and have confidence in yourself.
“The North East is behind Lola and that’s a really special thing. She needs to realise how good she is and believe in herself.
“She needs to try not to get carried away by the pressure of the show. People don’t realise how tough it is to go through a show like that, but it’s really hard and there’s a lot of pressure. It was easier for me because I had the rest of the band.
“It must be tough for Lola on her own but she is amazing.
“I’m really hoping that everyone from the North East will get behind her and vote for her. It would be amazing to see another title brought home.”
