Part surfer psychedelia, part Clint Eastwood, part Tarantino, part Indie – this EP from Sunderland five-piece The Sons of Bido Lito is a melting pot of genres.
As I listened to it at my desk on a cold, overcast April day in Pennywell it had me riding a wave of catchy beats and strong vocals.
It’s a sound that proved popular at this month’s EP launch in Pure and the lads are certainly ones to watch.
In a city saturated by Indie bands, it’s refreshing to come across a band who sound unlike any other I’ve heard before. Clint’s Trip in particular was an aural pleasure.
