Scottish rockers Big Country will bring their sound to Sunderland later this month.
Following the success of their 30th Anniversary Steeltown tour, the band are hitting the road again to celebrate their back catalogue from their multi-million selling and Number 1 hit albums.
The band is made up of Bruce Watson (guitars/vocals); Mark Brzezicki (drums, vocals) and Jamie Watson (guitars/vocals) who will be joined on stage by Simon Hough, ex front man for Denny Laine, of Wings fame.
They’ll be taking to the stage at The Point in Park Lane and will be performing classic hits and live favourites including Harvest Home, Fields of Fire, In A Big Country, Chance, Wonderland, Look Away, The Teacher, plus a surprise for longtime fans.
Formed in Fife, in 1981, the band became famed for their distinct guitar-driven style infused with Scottish folk and martial music styles.
