The world-famous opera star is heading to South Shields and tickets are almost sold out.
Despite only going on sale just over a week ago, tickets for the gig at The Customs House on February 24, have sold at record rate.
The venue has announced that 90 per cent of tickets are already sold for the show which will be hosted by BBC Radio presenter Paul Harris.
In it, she will reminisce about her varied career, take questions from the audience and sing some of her favourite songs accompanied by the piano.
She will also tell some hilarious behind-the-scenes stories and fascinating anecdotes as she gives a unique insight into her life on the stage.
Marketing and programming manager Tim Flood, said: “The demand for tickets for the show has been incredible.
“Conversations have begun with regards to a new performance, but I stress that these talks are at a very early stage and we can’t guarantee an additional show.”
He added: “My advice would be to anyone interested in seeing the show to book now to avoid disappointment because tickets won’t be available for much longer.”
