Pop music from the past and present is being brought together for some festive events.
On Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19, Jersey Boys Meet Take That will be performing at the Stadium of Light.
The act pays tribute to both the chart-topping boyband and the international musical, with a range of authentic costumes, dance routines and sound alike tracks.
Michael Murray, leader of Jersey Boys Meet Take That, said: “We have worked extremely hard over the past nine months to make this one of the most authentic tribute acts in the UK.
For the first half of Jersey Boys Meet Take That’s appearances at the Stadium of Light guests will enjoy a host of Take That’s biggest hits, including Greatest Day, Shine, Never Forget and Could It Be Magic, all modelled on the boyband’s previous live performances.
Then, for act two, they will be taken back to the 60s,
Before all that there will be a chance for visitors to enjoy a five-course meal created by the chefs at 1879 Events.
