TICKETS are now available for a city-centre section of a light festival as preparations for the celebration continue.

The free tickets will be needed to gain entry to the Market Place, Saddler Street and Silver Street area of Durham, between 4.30pm and 7.30pm when it hosts Lumiere from Thursday, November 14, to the following Sunday, Entrances will be via Elvet Bridge, Framwellgate Bridge, and Claypath, and a queuing system will be in place.

The tickets are available via www.ticketmaster.co.uk or by calling 0844 844 0444, with a fee of 80p to cover booking and postage, and in person from the Gala Theatre in Millennium Place, Durham, or Durham County Council Customer 
Access Points at Seaham, Chester-le-Street, Crook, Barnard Castle, Consett, Spennymoor, Stanley and Bishop Auckland.
