A DEVOTED football fan will be living the dream when he performs a one-man show about his beloved Black Cats.
Paul Dunn will be starring in I Left My Heart In Roker Park later this year.
The 39-year-old actor is taking the show to Washington, Durham and South Shields, and is calling on Sunderland fans to show their support.
The show, by Jarrow playwright Tom Kelly, focuses on the devotion of a fan from the Sunderland team’s Roker Park days through to the turmoil of last season.
Paul, originally from Sunderland but now living in South Shields, plays SAFC fan Kevin Halliday.
Over the course of an afternoon in the back garden of his home – on the site of the former Roker Park – he recalls the events of his life as they interweave with the fortunes of his beloved club.
The show will be performed at The Customs House in Mill Dam, South Shields, on September 19 and 20, Washington Arts Centre on September 25 and Durham Gala on September 27 and 28.
