BRITAIN’S Got Talent winners Collabro have announced a 23-date nationwide UK tour next year - and will be joined by a very special guest, runner-up Lucy Kay.

The musical theatre boy band took the BGT judges’ and viewers’ breath away with their renditions of classic tracks.

Jamie Lambert – a regular live performer in South Tyneside – and his bandmates Michael Auger, Richard Hadfield, Thomas Leak and Matthew Pagan only formed a month before their audition.

In February their lives changed forever when they performed Stars from Les Misérables and received a unanimous standing ovation from the judges and audience at their first audition in London.

Collabro progressed all the way to the final, and were cast the winners in front of 11 million viewers.

They have since signed a record deal with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music, and their debut album is due for release on July 14.

Now it has been confirmed that they will be embarking on a 23-date tour of the UK’s concert halls in early 2015, with tickets going on sale on Friday.

The tour includes a date at Newcastle City Hall on Thursday, February 26.

Collabro said: “We are so excited to be going on tour and to be joined by Lucy Kay too - what a treat!

“We can’t wait to sing live to our fans and show the UK what we have to offer!”

BGT runner-up Lucy is a Glasgow-based opera singer, who finished second with a rapturous performance of Nessun Dorma.

On joining the tour she said: “I feel so very honoured and excited to be joining Collabro on their UK tour.

“I’m living out one of my dreams and I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a fun one!”

Tickets for all dates go on sale at 10am on Friday from gigsandtours.com or 0844 811 0051 and www.ticketmaster.co.uk or 0844 826 2826.
