Martin Fulop is being recalled from Leicester City.

The Hungarian international goalkeeper has been on loan at the Championship club since the start of the season and initially went to the Walkers Stadium on a season-long deal.

But Sunderland had an option to recall the 6ft 4in stopper and have activated that clause.

Roy Keane said today: "We are bringing Marton back. We've had him watched during his time there and he's done well.

"It was important that he got games under his belt but he's had his stint there and we have decided to bring him back."

Whether Fulop is back for good and comes into contention for a place in the first team squad or whether the club will look to sell him on remains to be seen.

The Black Cats' manager said: "Nothing has been decided yet in terms of what happens with the keepers.

"I had a manager on the phone yesterday asking about taking Trevor Carson on loan but nothing has been agreed and I have always quite liked the idea of having four keepers at the club."

Who goes between the posts for Sunderland in tomorrow's game against Reading, we will have to wait and see.
