Andy Welsh's Sunderland Under-21 side kept up their title challenge with a 3-2 win over Everton at the Stadium of Light.
Star man was Rees Greenwood, who had a hand in all three goals against the Toffees, including a superb counter-attack for Ola Toivonen’s match-winning second, which sent Sunderland back to the top of the Under-21 league.
