Sunder-land ahoy! Kenwyne

Roy Keane revealed today that Sunderland had stepped in to improve Kenwyne Jones' travel plans as he returns from international duty.

And he joked that Jones and former Black Cats' striker Stern John may both crossing the Atlantic Ocean under their own steam!

Jones will not be back on Wearside until this afternoon - only 24 hours ahead of a crucial Premier League game against Wigan - after playing in Trinidad & Tobago's friendly draw with Guadeloupe on Wednesday.

Keane said: ""He's played the full 90 minutes and then got on a flight.

"We have to help with the travel arrangements. If we left it to them (the T&T FA), I think he'd be on a ferry.

"Him and Stern are paddling at the moment!

"We made sure Kenwyne was upgraded and had a bed to sleep on."
