Newcastle's Northern Rock sponsorship safe
The Northern Rock will continue to sponsor Newcastle United as Chancellor Alistair Darling insisted it's business as usual at the troubled bank.
The Newcastle-based financial institution is to be nationalised after two private bids for the company were rejected by the Governement.
