Keane offers Miller lifeline

Sunderland boss Roy Keane could bring midfielder Liam Miller back into the fold for Sunday's clash with Everton at the Stadium of Light.

Miller was transfer-listed last week for poor time-keeping and did not make the squad for last weekend's goalless draw at Derby.

But today Keane said that Miller had knuckled down in training this week and had also impressed playing for the reserves in their 4-1 win at Wigan.

Keane said: "Liam's shown a good attitude and done himself no harm but we will have to wait and see."
