Bent: This could be a cracker

Sunderland striker Darren Bent expects another thriller with Manchester City at the Stadium of Light tomorrow.

The sides shared seven goals just before Christmas, with City winning on home turf.

And with Roberto Mancini's side boasting fewer defeats than even title-chasing Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal, Bent knows the magnitude of the task facing Sunderland tomorrow.

But he said: "We've played some of our best football against the big sides this season.

"To be honest, I thought we had a really good chance of beating Man City down there when he played them.

"We gave it our best shot and just came up short, but us beating Bolton on Tuesday has reminded people of how well we can play.

"Man City will probably be tougher but I expect they be quite open and will back their own ability on the ball. It could be a right ding-dong."
