HOUGHTON Boars are the main attraction on the Houghton Feast calendar on Saturday as they host North Shields in their first home league fixture of the season.
The Boars – the Dairy Lane club’s second team –have not played since their league win over Novos and are looking to maintain their winning ways.
Once again, the Boars have a strong team to field with a good mixture of youth and experience to choose from.
Due to the Houghton Feast Parade, the road in front of the club will be closed at 1.30pm. Players from both teams need to be at the club before the road closure.
Houghton first team, having suffered a defeat last week, are keen to get back on form and produce a performance to get there season up and running.
They visit Yarm and have named a very strong squad. Andy Charlton and Graham Hughes are both welcomed back into the team after missing last week’s game.
Steve Wilson and Danny Large move up to the first team after producing good performances with the Boars.
