Baz Walker dropped his first ponits of the Thorney Close Darts season when he drew Darren Johnston.

Walker’s best legs were in 14 and 18 (twice) plus a 180, while Johnston’s best leg came in 19 darts.

Sue Edwards closed the gap at the top with a 5-1 victory over Denny Cullen.

Edwards’ best legs came in 15 and 20 darts.

Marco Laybourn beat John Doran 5-1 with Laybourn clinching legs in 16 and 21 darts.

Andy Clark beat Daz Noble 5-3 with both players’ best leg coming in 21 darts.

Steve Richardson led 3-0, but only claimed a draw against Jack Revely.

Richardson’s best legs were 18 (twice) and 21 darts and a great finish of 118, plus a 180.

Jaxon Douglass beat Gary Bramley 5-3, but Gary Bramley recovered to see off Don Green 5-1.

Jack Revely beat Jaxon Douglass 5-3 with Revely’s best legs being 20 darters (twice).

Jamie Scott drew with Marco Laybourn and Daz Noble drew with Gary Richardson.

Darren Johnston beat Paul Wilkinson 5-2. Johnston’s best legs were 21 (three times), plus a great finish of 153.
