Stoves proves too hot for Golden Fleece Darts Premier League opponents

Alan Stoves was on fire when he claimed two superb victories in the Golden Fleece Darts Premier League.

Stoves eased past Mark Forth 5-0 in his first game and then defeated Kev Long 5-1 in his second encounter.

Another to win his two games was Paul Moon, winning 5-0 against both Norman Place and Jaxon Douglass.

Moon enjoyed a best winning leg in 20 darts, including a fine 180.

Jordan Thoms edged out John Doran 5-2, while Steve Peel beat Davey Mason 5-1.

Glen Woodbridge saw off Kev Long 5-0 and Mark Reeves eased to a 5-2 victory over John Doran.

Steve Richardson defeated Denny Cullen 5-1, while Charlie Thompson beat Michael Davies 5-3.

Lee Rump drew with Davey Mason as Rump enjoyed winning legs in 20 and 21 darts, including a fine 180.

Gary Richardson beat Jaxon Douglass 5-2, with both players’ best leg coming in 18 darts.

Marco Laybourn beat Norman Place 5-0, with winning legs of 18, 19 and 20 darts.

Last game of the night saw Pete Wilson draw with Charlie Thompson.

Wilson’s best legs was two 21-dart legs, Thompson’s best came in 20 and 21 darts.
