ADAM Lafferty secured promotion to the Premier Division of the Thorney Close Darts league with two fine wins.

First he beat Jamie Scott, coming from 3-0 down to win 5-3.

He then beat his closest rival Darren Johnston 5-3 to guarantee his promotion.

Johnston bounced back to beat Tony Bryant 5-0 is his second game.

Alan Garden beat Dan Scott 5-3 with his best legs in 20 and 21 darts.

Shaun Turnbull had two 5-0 wins, beating Denny Cullan and Gary Richardson.

Cullen then turned the tables on Jordan Cook with a 5-0 win of his own.

Jason Allan beat Anth Devine 5-1 with his best leg in 16 darts, while Gary Richardson beat Tony Bryant 5-1.

In the Premier Division, Marco Laybourn secured his Thorney Close Darts League finals night spot with a 5-3 win against Alan Slight.

Laybourn won legs in 15, 19, 20 and 21 darts.

Walter Scott is in sixth place after beating Jack Revely 5-2.

Steve Carr beat Steve Richardson 5-2, and Andy Lincoln beat Tes Charlesworth by the same score.

Leader Chris Bolam powered to a 5-0 win against Vince Lorraine, with his best legs won in 15 and 16 darts.

Lorraine bounced back in his second match of the night by beating Anth Cummings 5-2.

Anth Richardson saw off Micky Watson with his best leg in 16 darts.
