This week in the Danby Autos Sunderland Snooker League it is was a free week, but this gave teams the chance to play any postponed games.
Biddick B travelled to Green Baize to play their postponed game and got off to the perfect start with Michael Simpson winning the first frame beating Dean Wilson 49-39.
Trevor Walton dominated the second frame, winning 70-5 before Peter Mills’ good start to the season continued when he defeated Craig Kane 66-36 in the third.
Peter Dambrosie potted well to beat Craig Bell 49-34 in the fourth, before teaming up with Craig Kane to beat Trevor Walton and John Temple 65-27 to reduce the defeat to 3-2.
Green Baize welcomed Glendale to play their postponed game and got off to a bad start with Thomas Gwyn potting well to beat Dean Wilson 74-13.
Peter Dambrosie’s good form continued, beating Marc Smithson 74-50 in the second, before Paul Atkinson had an excellent win beating Craig Kane 48-30.
John Danby moved Glendale further ahead winning the fourth frame 41-31 against Gary Simpson, before teaming up with Thomas Gwyn to win a high scoring pairs against Peter Dambrosie and Craig Kane 85-58 for a 4-1 win.
