Baz Walker edges away from the chasing pack

Baz Walker moved four points clear at the top of the Golden Fleece Darts League after two comfortable wins.

Firstly, Walker defeated Jack Revely 5-2, with best darts of 20 and 21, plus a 180 and a 100 finish.

Walker then made light work of Norman Place, winning 5-0 with winning legs of 18, 20 and 21 darts.

Gary Richardson beat Jaxon Douglass 5-2 and John Doran saw off Paul Moon, winning 5-1.

Pete Wilson and Douglass played out a draw with both players’ best leg coming in 21 darts.

Steve Richardson claimed two victories on the night when he defeated Jack Revely 5-3 and Paul Moon 5-1.

Richardson’s best legs were 18 and 21 (twice), including a 180.

Darren Johnston beat Steve Carr 5-3, but was then held to a draw by Kev Long.

Micky Watson staged a dramatic comeback to claim a draw after trailing 4-1 against Glen Woodbridge, with both players enjoying a 17-dart leg.

Mike McBain moved into the top eight for the first time this season with a brilliant 5-1 win over Mark Forth.

However, Forth bounced back from the defeat to earn a draw against Denny Cullen.

Marco Laybourn beat Jaxon Douglass 5-1, with winning legs of 16, 17 and 20 darts.

Last final game of the night saw Andy Clark beat Kev Long 5-3.
