Hartlepool: Turner's faith in United squad
Chris Turner believes Hartlepool United have the strength in depth needed to survive the demands of the League One run-in.
Pools were dealt a big blow on Tuesday when Denis Behan was ruled out for six weeks with ankle damage after being stretchered off for the reserves.
It deprives Turner of arguably his most physical targetman, but Pools are hardly short on options up front.
Roy O'Donovan and Adam Boyd impressed in last week's win over Southend, with James Brown pushing hard to be included while Colin Larkin and Armann Bjornsson are also available.
Director of sport Turner, whose side visit Yeovil on Saturday, said: "We can cope with injuries now. We have got enough players to cover for anyone who gets ruled out.
"It's a very big blow losing Denis because he's one of our main strikers. He brings certain things to the team and it is disappointing not to have him.
"But injuries are part and parcel of football. James is coming back to full fitness now so we have got good cover."
Pools are six points clear of trouble, and Turner added: "It would be nice to get back-to-back wins. Away, we have not picked up any points at all of late. But we are positive and there is an opportunity for us."
Midfielders Joe Gamble (hip) and Ritchie Jones (head) should be fit after taking part in full training this week.
