Gyan relishing Bent partnership
Sunderland record signing Asamoah Gyan is sure he and Darren Bent can strike up a lethal pairing.
Gyan, who has 22 goals in 44 international appearances for Ghana and netted 14 times in 47 games for Rennes, is delighted to have the chance to play with Bent, who already has four goals this season.
The Ghana forward said: "I will go with the style that the coach wants me to play.
"I have watched Sunderland and they basically play 4-4-2 and that is good for a centre forward.
"Benty is also a great centre forward. I wish to play with good guys and he is one of the great forwards.
"I am sure I will be comfortable playing with him."
