KIDDERMINSTER boss Andy Thorn is hoping he can take Sunderland to penalties at tomorrow’s cup clash after witnessing their performance at Old Trafford

Thorn said his team had been looking for chinks in Sunderland’s armour as the Black Cats travelled to Manchester for the second leg of the Capital One Cup semi-final.

He said: “Whatever team you play you’re always looking for any strengths and weaknesses.

“(On Wednesday night) we had to wait until the 118th minute before we saw any weaknesses, so hopefully we can take them to penalties.”
