DAVID Vaughan has been touted as a possible target for newly-promoted Crystal Palace.

Palace boss Ian Holloway would love to have the Welsh international at Selhurst Park next season.

The 30-year-old was voted Player of the Season in Vaughan and Ian Holloway’s doomed sole Premier League campaign at Blackpool.

And when the Tangerines were relegated on the last day of the 2010-11 campaign, Holloway said that his own personal heartbreak was that he would lose players of the calibre of Charlie Adam and Vaughan.

Ex-Sunderland boss Steve Bruce picked up Vaughan on a free transfer and the Sunday People suggests a fee of £500,000 would get him out of the Stadium of Light.

But if Paolo di Canio is prepared to let Vaughan leave, he would want a seven-figure fee at least.
